Vantage Building Control Ltd delivered the Building Control function for this loft conversion project to this existing Grade II star listed building in Britain’s smallest town, Wye, Kent.
Domestic Loft Conversion
The building contained various of historic and architectural features which were naturally to be preserved. As a result, Vantage Building Control Ltd, applied pragmatic solutions to achieve Building Regulation compliance, whilst ensuring and maintaining the character of the building. Due to the method of existing construction, it was important to ensure that the materials used were suitable – the use of Steico insulation was therefore adopted due to its inherent breathable characteristics.
